Stacey Brancheau established the Brancheau Law Firm to pursue her passion for helping individuals and their families navigate the often overwhelming process of wealth planning. In addition to her experience as an attorney, Stacey is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING™ professional and has earned the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation. With 20 years of experience in the wealth planning industry, serving as an attorney, financial planner, fiduciary advisor and senior trust officer for a regional bank, she is uniquely qualified to assist her clients in developing a comprehensive plan to ensure that their loved ones have the information, guidance and resources necessary in the event of the client’s incapacity or death.

After earning her Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan-Flint and her Juris Doctor degree, With Distinction from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Stacey began her professional career as a sole practitioner. After counseling clients in the estate planning field for ten years, she joined a regional bank and served as a Senior Vice President, Senior Trust Officer and Fiduciary Advisor. During her eight year tenure with the bank, Stacey earned her CFP® and CTFA designations. Most recently she worked with a financial planning firm, creating comprehensive financial plans for their affluent and high net worth clients.

Stacey makes it a priority to stay abreast of the ever-changing laws and trends in the estate and financial planning arena. She received her certificate of completion for completing the ICLE Probate and Estate Planning Certificate Program and has served numerous times as a facilitator for the continuing education courses offered by ICLE. Stacey Co-Chaired the Probate and Estate Planning section of the Washtenaw County Bar Association and served on the Board of Trustees for the Washtenaw Estate Planning Council.
